SANYA 4 DAYS ITINERARY
Sanya has a virgin, unblemished feel to it. There are soft clear beaches, crystal waters, and flowers in bloom throughout the season. With temperatures between 21ˇăC and 28ˇăC and a tropical maritime climate, it's warm and sunny the year round. Located on the southern tip of Hainan province, it has been described in various ways as a south China version of Hawaii. The locals like to say that they have five treasures; sea, sand, air, green and sunshine.
It is a city and area with a long history. Archaeologists have found it to have been inhabited 10,000 years ago. Persian tombs have been found along the coast. The First Emperor of China made it a county in the second century BC and, standing at an unbeatable distance from the capital, it has long been called 'the end of the earth'.
Sanya has nearly a half million inhabitants spread over 20 nationalities. These people have maintained their customs and practices which have led to a rich and varied folk culture, art and religions and the production of wonderful handicrafts which have been an attraction for visitors from all over the world.
Day 1. Arrival
Guests will arrive in Sanya on an evening flight and will be met by hostesses in traditional costumes of Hainan Island. PC Tours Representatives will transfer guests by air conditioned coach to the hotel. Welcome drinks will be served at the hotel's poolside.

Day 2. Butterfly Valley, Nanshan Cultural Tourism Zone, Yalong Bay, Seashell Exhibition Centre
Breakfast will be taken at the hotel.
In the morning, guests will be taken to see some of the natural and cultural features of Sanya

Butterfly Valley. Hainan is said to have the greatest concentration of butterflies and 'Butterfly Valley' near the Longtan lakes and the stunning Yalong Bay is packed with them. The butterflies here include some of China's rarest species such as the Peking Papilio. The 1.5 hectare garden includes tour area, displays and a shop. |
The Nanshan Cultural Tourism Zone. 40 kilometres west of Sanya city, this is one of the largest cultural attractions of its kind in China. In fact, it is three parks in one; the Buddhism Culture Park, Felicity and Longevity Park and National Cultural Customs Park. |

The Nashan Buddhist temple, in the Tang style is the largest to be built by the government since the founding of the People's Republic of China. Guests will see several key features of the parks. Principal amongst them is the enormous 108-metre high statue of the Buddhist goddess of Mercy, she watches over the island from a jetty out at sea and protects those on the water.
The golden Guanyin consisting of 150kg of pure gold and silver, 100kg of jade, 120 carats of diamonds and thousands of rubies.

The Dragon Ink Stone, weighing 35 tons, 10 metres long and 1.5 metres high is said to be the largest ink stone in the world, decorate with dragons, phoenixes, sun and moon. The Lucky Bell, in its own pavilion, is 1.8 metres high and weighs nearly a ton. If you swing the hammer and strike the bell once, you rid yourself of one of your troubles. If you strike it three times, you pay homage to Buddha and reduce them considerably.
Lunch will be vegetarian and taken as the monks do at the Nanshan Temple.
Drive to Yalong Bay National Resort, Sanya's premier destination for fun in the sun, providing visitors with a catching combination of a world-class beach, clear and free swimming and diving and superb golf facilties in one extraordinary package. Yalong Bay centers on a crescent-shaped beach of about 7,000 m. The sea is so clear that visibility can reach eight metres, making it ideal for divers attracted to the nearby coral reef. Those who prefer lounging by the pool will find pools of every shape along the bay. Water sports and golf, tennis, rock climbing and hiking are among a wide selection of attractions which guests can explore.
The Seashell Exhibition Centre. The first of its kind in China, this exhibition of seashells is located with the Yalong Bay Resort and is a delightful and informative collection of shells of every shape and size.
Evening guests will enjoy a quite special local seafood dinner. The fishing ground at Beibu Bay and on the South China Sea adjacent to Sanya are famously clean and clear so Sanya's sea food is a must-try item. Abalone, sea slugs and sea urchins abound. These are highly nutritious and tasty and regarded as delicacies. They are not as daunting as their English names suggest. They are known throughout China as the 'Three Rarities' from the sea.

Day 3. Sanya at Leisure

Wuzhizhou Island. A paradise within paradise this is one of the larger islands off Sanya. It has soft sand beaches, clear deep waters, a coral reef, 2,000 varieties plant life, dense forests and green hills. The sea is rich in game fish and crustaceans. Activities include yachting, skin diving, motor boat cruises and beach motor cycling. Amongst the facilities is the Wuzhizhou Island Holiday Resort.

Spas. Sanya is an ideal spot for spa treatments, carried out in settings of lush greenery and sands with the ocean as background music. There are four popular, well equipped and attractively located spas in 5-star settings. The 'SPA' retreat is at the Hilton Sanya Resort hotel. 'Mandara' is at the Sheraton Sanya Resort's spa. The 'Quan Spa' is at the Sanya Marriott and the 'Mangrove Tree Spa' is at the Mangrove Tree Resort hotel. |
Lunch. Guests can choose for themselves where to eat and spend the afternoon by the hotel poolside or on a beach.

Keen golfers can return to glorious Yalong Bay National Resort and play a few holes at this club with its unconventional links design over 250,000 sq. metres and 36 International Championship holes. The '19th hole' is in an elegant and comfortable club house containing all the facilities you'd expect of a first class golf club. |
Guests can enjoy a Barbeque Dinner by the poolside or a hotel beach party.
Day 4. Departure
Breakfast will be taken at the hotel.
Guests can continue to enjoy all the activities of their choice until the late afternoon transfer to the Return airport for the flight.
